Frequently asked questions.

What will our session be like?

On the day, I want you and your dog(s) to feel as relaxed as possible and at ease.  Depending on the style of photo you are after, I might ask you to help with throwing a ball or holding a treat and working with your dog and me to get the best possible images.

Where will the photoshoot take place

During the consultation we can have a chat about the type of photos that you want. You might have a favourite place or a particular location in mind or I can suggest locations to get the images you want. If you are concerned about your dog being off lead then we can look into booking a secure dog field.

How many photos are included?

Depending on whether you purchase the standard or premium package, you will get 5 or 10 high resolution images. On the day, I will try to take over 15-25 images for you to choose from. Choosing extra photos start from £50 each.

Can I book all year round?

There are fantastic opportunities at any time of year for a photoshoot, it just depends on what type of images you are after.  Snowdrops and Bluebells in spring, wildflowers, lush woodlands and messing about by the river in the summer or crisp, frosty mornings with the winter sun.  Consideration will need to be given to the type of dog that you have and the outside temperature, both hot and cold to ensure the safety of you dog(s).  It’s no problem to book in advance for the time of year that you would prefer - this can be discussed at the consultation stage.

Can children come along?

If you would like your children or other family member to come along they can.  If you would like some photos of family members playing with your dog(s) then I’m happy to do this - just let me know.

Can my dog stay on a lead?

If you are concerned about your dog being off lead that’s fine. You may want to consider booking a secure dog field or I can take photos and then edit the image to remove the lead.

What areas do you cover?

I'm based in Stanford In The Vale, Oxfordshire, and include travel for sessions within a 20 mile radius of this location. Additional mileage is charged at 45p per mile outside of this radius in each direction.

What if the weather is bad?

I’m happy to be outside taking photographs in all weathers so it will depend on you, your dog(s) and the type of images that you want. If the weather is not suitable, we can arrange another time to meet. This is at no extra cost

When will I be able to see the prints?

Once the photoshoot is finished I will start looking at the images and will upload the best ones to a private gallery and send you the link.  I will try to process the images within 2 weeks.

What about copyright?

I retain the copyright for any and all images produced during your session.
